Malaria Consortium is recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join our team in London, UK.

The Assistant Financial Accountant will coordinate the finance activities in order to deliver high quality support to the UK office of Malaria Consortium. The post holder’s objectives are to achieve timely and accurate reporting (internal and external), payroll services to the UK staff and International staff, sound financial management and provide seamless support to the UK office.  

The successful candidate will have:

  • Part-qualified accountant in recognised global body e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA;
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university;
  • Working knowledge of accounting software;
  • Experience in an accounting role including processing payroll.
  • Excellent computer skills with high proficiency in Microsoft excel;
  • Good analytical and reporting skills;
  • High level of English, both written and spoken;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • Strong ability to be able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the contract (mentioned in the Job description).

We are not in a position to sponsor a work Visa for this post. 

We operate a hybrid working model and ask staff to attend the office at least four times per month.
