Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Digital Health Specialist to join our team in London, UK. 

The purpose of this role is to ensure that Malaria Consortium’s digital health work is designed and implemented to a high standard, is delivered in line with organisational strategy, and draws on best practice and emerging evidence. The post holder will act as a focal support point for digital health within Malaria Consortium, provide technical input, advice, and capacity strengthening support to colleagues globally. The postholder will also work to drive forward the strengthening and expansion of Malaria Consortium’s digital health portfolio, through contributing to business development, external relations and strategy development.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in relevant field (public/global health, digital health, information systems or similar)
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience working in the design, development, testing, implementation and monitoring of digital solutions, preferably in the health system
  • Previous experience working with and providing technical assistance regarding the implementation of digital solutions to stakeholders at various levels
  • In-depth knowledge of the digital health sector, including awareness of donor priorities; the key stakeholders working in digital health; flagship projects, platforms and approaches; key themes and trends in digital health
  • Experience of a flexible approach to managing and prioritizing a high workload and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work comfortably with broad range of software solutions
  • Experience in working effectively with government and non-government partners, ideally in Africa
  • Experience in the monitoring and evaluation of digital health interventions

We are currently hybrid working and ask staff to go into the office at least four times a month.
