Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Finance Director to join our team in London, UK.

The Finance Director will oversee all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities in the organisation in conjunction with the Chief Executive, the Global Management Group (GMG), the Board of Trustees including the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee (FARC). Provide strategic insights from a financial perspective to inform strategy and ensure financial stability.

They will play a critical role in developing and implementing the financial and business development policies across the organisation. Oversee financial management from financial planning, control and regulatory perspectives. Hold responsibility as a director of local Nigerian delivery NGO – Malaria and Public Health Nigeria Ltd/Gte; and Officer on MC United States 501(c)3.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Fully qualified member of one of the UK accounting bodies (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or CIPFA)
  • Experienced leader with extensive years of broad finance experience at a senior level
  • Experience with management accounting, including preparing analyses for decision-making, scenario planning, forecasting and budgeting
  • Extensive experience managing the finance function (accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting) within a diverse disciplinary organisation, with experience of international and cross-border working
  • Mature and proactive, with evidence of having worked as a partner to the CE of a multi-divisional organisation or within a matrix-management organisational set-up
  • Experience successfully implementing financial management IT systems

We are currently hybrid working and you will be expected to visit the office at least once a week.
