Malaria Consortium is recruiting for 5 (five) M&E Assistant to join our team in Nampula, Mozambique.

The Assistants will help operationalise the SMC M&E plan by supporting data-related tasks, ensuring data quality, strengthening the capacity of district health teams, and contributing to timely reports that inform programme performance and decision-making. They will also help ensure effective coordination among SDSMAS, health facilities, and Malaria Consortium’s logistics and support teams so that end-of-cycle and end-of-round surveys, data collection, and data submission are implemented smoothly within a research context.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Degree in statistics, social sciences or a related field.
  • One to three years of experience in M&E, preferably in public health projects.
  • Familiarity with national health systems and malaria programming.
  • Experience supporting government-led programmes, especially the Ministry of Health or NMCP.
  • Able to ride a motorbike – with more than 5 years’ driving experience and own a valid driving license
