Qualifications and experience:

Essentials

  • Higher Diploma in Accounting, Finance, and other applicable discipline (Economics, compliance related field)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience directly supporting project finance, logistics and supply chain in an INGO or a multinational company.
  • Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills in French and a working knowledge in English
  • Ability to thoroughly review financial documents and identify errors or inconsistencies.
  • Capacity to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and suggest appropriate solutions.
  • Able to convey information clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally, with finance teams, project coordinators, and stakeholders.
  • Understanding and strict compliance with internal policies, donor requirements, and local regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Demonstrates a high level of ethical standards and maintains confidentiality in handling financial data.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel and Word) and ability to learn organization-specific financial tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with program and finance teams to ensure effective implementation.
  • Capable of anticipating needs, taking initiative, and resolving issues independently while respecting reporting lines.
