Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Technical Coordinator  to join our team in Maputo, Mozambique.

Malaria Consortium is seeking candidates for the Technical Coordinator position to join one-year UNICEF Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA), for institutionalizing upSCALE into the MoH through improved data ownership and data informed decision making for the community health subsystem strategy (CHSS).

The successful candidate will have:

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Epidemiology, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Public Health/Medicine, Development Studies, or a related field
  • Previous work experience in digital health and information systems in health-related programmes.
  • Experience in designing and supporting digital health projects with governments (especially MISAU).
  • Previous experience implementing and managing development programs, ideally in community health programs.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in health systems, information systems, training or health systems strengthening.
  • Experience in providing technical assistance and leadership around the design and implementation of digital solutions to strengthen the health system, including the application of recommended Health Information Systems architectures and standards.
  • Experience in project management and proven ability to translate complex ideas from multiple areas into unified and clear guidance.
