The Vacancy
Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Technical Officer to join our team in Moroto, Uganda. The role of the Technical Officer (TO) is to ensure the effective on-site delivery of Malaria Vaccine and other vaccine activities across the 9 districts of Karamoja, aiming to achieve the highest coverage of all recommended doses. The TO will ensure timely planning, implementation of activities, bearing in mind program targets. The postholder will interacts with the relevant stakeholders, ensures implementation is aligned with approved project proposal and keeps them updated on the program progress. The postholder would plans joint efforts with relevant stakeholders, including immunization officers and other key stakeholders, and ensures their implementation.
The Technical Officer – Vaccines will support the development and implementation of key vaccine-related programs developed to support the EPI and malaria programs in Uganda. The role will support in the coordination of the malaria vaccine roll out activities. Other potential areas of engagement could include: zero-dose children identification, future vaccine introductions, community engagement for EPI services, etc.
