Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Project Compliance Officer to join our team in Kampala ensuring the project is compliant to donor requirements and ensuring a culture of integrity, ethics, and accountability throughout the Malaria Consortium processes of project implementation. 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Computing, Accounting or Commerce, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  •  Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, finance, or auditing within an INGO, donor agency, or regulatory environment.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFE) or compliance-related training; Membership of ICPAU or ACCA
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Global Fund financial and compliance requirements, risk management, and grant regulations.
  • Experience conducting compliance assessments, internal audits, fraud investigations, and due diligence checks in donor-funded projects.
  • Ability to work with accuracy and identify discrepancies in project documentation records.
  • Knowledge of financial management, procurement, and grant compliance in the non-profit sector.
  •  Experience supporting internal and external audits, investigations, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Global Fund’s Local Fund Agent (LFA) processes and reporting mechanisms
  •  Training experience in compliance, financial accountability, and fraud prevention for project teams and partners.
  • Knowledge and experience using MS-Office packages
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for financial reporting and donor liaison.
