Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Surveillance, Monitoring and Evaluation Manager. to join our team in Juba.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Essential:

  • Master’s degree in Epidemiology, public health, Statistics, international development, health informatics /information systems, management or relevant discipline
  • Extensive work experience as a senior project manager in public health related projects, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality project outputs
  • Experience in conducting desk and literature reviews, summarizing and presenting health data information in succinct way
  • Experience in leading ongoing data analysis for relevant use for malaria control/elimination programs, key indicators, and data visualization tools
  • Experience in conducting qualitative research, especially key informative interviews
  • Experience in working with key stakeholders in malaria programming in Uganda
  • Experience working at the national level on health systems management and coordinating with both governmental (e.g., Ministry of Health) and technical partners
  • Strong analytical skills in monitoring and evaluation of programmes and projects
  • Extensive experience of budget management and providing financial oversight
  • Experience in managing research projects
  • Experience of working in multi-partnership arrangement within an international NGO

This role is conditional of Malaria Consortium securing funding for this role. 

Due to the nature of this role we will be reviewing applications on an ongoing basis and the role might be filled and closed before the closing date. Early applications are encouraged.

This is a fixed term contract for the period of 6 months.
