This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Statistician to join our team under the Forecasting outbreak risks from extreme climate with active surveillance technology (FORECAST) project in Kampala, Uganda.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A post-graduate degree in medical statistics or biostatistics
  • Substantial experience in data management and analysis role
  • Advanced data management and analysis skills using Stata
  • Previous experience in the public health sector, especially in malaria and/or arboviral disease research or control projects
  • Experience in time series analysis of longitudinal data
  • Experience in geographic information system (GIS) tools and methods
  • Significant experience in survey design and implementation
  • Good understanding of health management information systems and experience with DHIS
  • Proficiency in the development of databases and data management of research projects
