Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Field Implementation Manager to join our team in Banteay Meanchey province.

The Field Implementation Manager (FIM), under the leadership of the Programme Manager Cervical Cancer, is responsible for the coordination, planning and implementation of all activities included in the community based cervical cancer project in Banteay Meanchey province.

Thie FIM is based in the Banteay Meanchey office and is accountable for all activities ensuring all are implemented in compliance with donor and Malaria Consortium policies.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong commitment to deliver project activities
  • Fluently in Khmer and English (both verbal and written)
  • Experience of project/ programme coordination at field level in the public health sector
  • Strong experience in community-based approaches, community engagement and engaging with community health workers and/or volunteers
  • Understanding of the structure of the Ministry of Health and health sector in Cambodia
  • Knowledge in implementing programmes and project activities at the field
  • Positive communication skills
  • Participate in the relationship with government or other NGO’s counterparts
  • Excellent reporting skills (both financial and narrative)
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team with national and international staff, and maintain strong working relationships with partners
  • Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent command of Khmer and English with good writing and communication skills
  • Knowledge of financial management basics
  • Strong focus on ethics and policy within all work
  • A bachelor's degree in public health, social science, development or equivalent

This role is conditional of Malaria Consortium securing funding for this role.  

Due to the nature of this role we will be reviewing applications on an ongoing basis and the role might be filled and closed before the closing date. Early applications are encouraged.

This is a fixed term contract for the period of 10 months.
