Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Grievance Redress Mechanism Manager to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria.

The Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management and resolution of grievances received from community members, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders related to Malaria Consortium’s  Malaria IMPACT project in Lagos, Nigeria. The role will be responsible for ensuring that all grievances are handled in a timely, fair, and effective manner and that feedback is provided to the relevant stakeholders. The Manager will supervise the Assistant Communication Officer.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, development studies, or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully managing grievance mechanisms.
  • Strong understanding of accountability principles and mechanisms for community-based programs
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

This role is conditional of Malaria Consortium securing funding for this role.  

Due to the nature of this role we will be reviewing applications on an ongoing basis and the role might be filled and closed before the closing date. Early applications are encouraged.

This is a fixed term contract for the period of 2 years depending on funding.
