Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Manager Pharmacist to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria.

The Manager-Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing procurement, warehousing, distribution, logistics, and supply management activities of the IMPACT Project in Lagos, Nigeria. The postholder will ensure the availability of quality-assured malaria prevention and treatment commodities, including Long-Lasting Insecticide Treated Nets (LLINs) and other malaria control commodities. The Manager-Pharmacist will be accountable for leading the design and implementation of capacity building interventions for the project staff and partners.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Educated at a Bachelors level in relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Procurement, warehousing, distribution, logistics and supply management;
  • Familiar with Donor funded procurement, warehousing and supply planning;
  • Strong knowledge of WHO Good Storage and Good Distribution Practices
  • Experience with managing pharmaceutical supply chains
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written) English

This role is conditional of Malaria Consortium securing funding for this role.  

Due to the nature of this role we will be reviewing applications on an ongoing basis and the role might be filled and closed before the closing date. Early applications are encouraged.

This is a fixed term contract for the period of 2 years pending funding.
