Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a ICT/Asset Management Assistant to join our team in Maputo, Mozambique .

The ICT/Asset Management Assistant will work closely with the Operations Officer to ensure staff computers including printers, the intranet and other supportive IT functions of the organization are functioning well and efficiently. S/he is also responsible for maintaining the fixed asset register.

The successful candidate will have:

  • • Implementing IT system security in the organization to ensure safety of data and IT systems in line with the relevant organisation policies and with guidance from the Global ICT Manager
  • Overseeing the country office WAN systems
  • Coordinate the management and maintenance of computer work stations
  • Provide training of staff to ensure they are able to competently use computer software and hardware
  • Providing support in troubleshooting of computer problems and other ICT-related systems
    • Ensure the proper storage of all data and archiving of records and backups under the guidance of Global ICT Manager
